Xiaomi Mi Drone comes out with 5100mAh battery from igeekphone

We’re not sure on a specific release date yet but Xiaomi has confirmed that there will be two models of the Mi Drone. One which is just 1080p for 2,499 Yen ($380/£259) while the 4K model is 2,999 Yen ($456/£310).

Most Xiaomi products don't go on sale straight away so we expect it to be available for pre-order soon and possibly get a June release date. That's our prediction but stay tuned for the official details.
Xiaomi Mi Drone specs and features
As expected, the Mi Drone is a quad-copter so has four propellers at the end of arms. Xiaomi says the design is inspired by the dragonfly.

Features of the Mi Drone, other than photo and video, include automatic takeoff and landing. Xiaomi says the drone will automatically stop if you fly it into a restricted area. Using GPS, the Mi Drone will automatically fly back to where it took off if it gets out of range.

If Xiaomi's first ever drone is going to make an impact then it needs to follow the company's winning game plan to date: quality products at cheap prices. Well, according to a report from Bloomberg, the 4K video-enabled Xiaomi Mi Drone will be priced at 4,000 yuan or $610. That's nearly 25 percent cheaper than market leader DJI's similarly equipped $799 Phantom 3 4K.

Chinese consumer electronics maker Xiaomi looks set to add a drone to its range of products next week. The company has already begun teasing a May 25th launch event on its official forum, posting what appears to be a first look its new quadcopter and asking users to guess what the product will be called. Given the forum post has the title "Mi Drone," Xiaomi may have already given the game away.

Xiaomi’s Drone will launch on May 25 and will compete against players like DJI, etc. We’ll have to see how Xiaomi prices this one.

After Letv released LeVR COOL1 and Huawei VR, Meizu starts to be busy with its first Meizu VR finally.  As we know in the previous posts, Huawei show Honor VR glass and Honor V8 smartphone in its press conference. Letv also declared its LeVR COOL1, but Xiaomi just registered a micro blog.

In last article, we have introduced Huawei Honor VR before, there are two versions, one is complete version, the other is folding version, the complete Honor VR is built in Hi-fi, suitable for 0-700 degrees myopia. Folding version Honor VR can be made up by five honor v8 package. In the near future, Honor will cooperate with Youku to provide more VR videos.

Therefore, how about Meizu VR? Will it beat Huawei Honor VR with 2k screen? According to the news, Meizu has set up its laboratory to study VR virtual reality which will connect closely with Flyme system. It probably is new industry for them so they will start with VR glass. And Meizu is hiring VR engineer, if you are interested, why not have a try?

Sharp Aquos Zeta SH-04H gets Ricoh GR Certification with waterproof, 22.6MP CAM

When we talk about smartphone, we guess few people can think of Sharp, as we know, sharp is dedicated to sharp screen with abundant technology. Sharp has good word of mouth in its tech.  Right now, Sharp has exposed the news about the latest flagship Sharp Aquos Zeta SH-04H, powered by Snapdragon 820 processor, the most outstanding feature is the rear camera with 22.6MP sensor and its lens has passed the certification of the Ricoh GR., which can compete with leica lenses of Huawei P9 and Huawei P9 plus.

But as for other specs, it’s common, it has RAM 3GB ROM 32GB, the screen has 1080p IGZO screen resolution. The front camera support 5MP to take selfies and support IPX5 or IPX7 waterproof. It supports artificial intelligence 4.0 version. About the design, according to the exposed pictures, the top and the bottom seem a little wider,but the bezel is good, and the green version makes us amazed.

We can see well in the leaked photos about its color,  Sharp Aquos Zeta SH-04H will be  available in green, black and white. But we don’t know about its release date and the price. More news will be reported later.

What’s New From CES Asia 2016,RC Drone, VR ?

CES Asia 2016 has opened in Shanghai  Expo center. It’s the second year of CES Asia. This time CES Asia has attracted over 150 countries, 3200 companies to attend this expo.

The biggest difference of this CES Asia 2016 is that it has increased some new smart products that we have never seen before including the new smart wearables, RC Drones, and VR headset.

VR Devices, unprecedentedly popular

The first year is called 2016 VR, this topic is in this year’s CES Asia has been confirmed. As the beginning of this year, many manufacturers starts its business about VR headset. We will introduce what will come out in CES Asia about VR.

Deepoon M2 All in one VR Headset:

Deepoon M2 uses the latest  Samsung Exynos7420 Soc, and adopts 2.5K OLED screen to support 60 to 70Hz refresh rate. It has RAM 3GB ROM 32 internal storage, which is  the only one on sale all-in-one VR. As an all in one VR without connecting smartphone and computer, Deepoon M2 sells at 2999yuan which is more competitive than those VR headset with PC or smartphone.

IDEALENS V2 :

As the first batch of all-in-one VR, IDEALENS has attended numerous America Exhibition, this time, it also bring the second all-in-one VR, IDEALENS V2,which moves its battery to the back of the headset with light steel spring connected to the host to achieve the balance of weight before and after. It will reduce the neck burden largely. Pimax 4K VR:

Pimax 4K is the first VR to be equipped with 4K screen resolution, with double gyroscope, delay control in 18ms, view Angle 110 degrees,  53mm double aspherical lenses which is  the industry’s largest diameter,   220g weight should be the lightest one in PC VR. Besides,  Pimax has deployed a virtual space in CESA to enable the immersive feeling of the VR to improve more.

RC Drone is more than Photographing

As hot as VR this year, RC drones come out a lot in the past few month of CES, This time RC manufacturer will not be absent the grand exhibition. We will introduce some creative RC quadcopters.

ProDrone BYRD

Folding ProDrone BYRD with portable, professional and sense of science and technology, design aesthetic and the powerful use function defined the characteristic and use again. Products have four arms, eight pieces screw and two feet frame folding,It can be folded as large as iPad to reduce the burden for travel. By camera, ultrasonic sensor to collect the environment data and then through  Intel CPU real-time processing, it makes RC drone sense the surrounding environment to make independent judgment. In the process of Yuneec Typhoon H presentation,it can be flexibly through the woods, and follow the cycling sports.

MOTA  jetjat nano

Now can you see the unmanned aerial vehicle (uav) should be a minimum of product, It’s MOTA  jetjat nano rc quadcopter. It’s only as small as a paper clip. Nano doesn’t have assembly screw propeller, no GPS synchronization, no Wifi, no app. It has  throttle valve to control the flight height,two joysticks to control turning, which is the big reason that Nano is proper to UAV flying. But the battery of Nano supports longest to 8 minutes. Considering its size, the flying life is quite good.

Since Garmin released Elevate optical heart rate, optical heart rate almost permeate into the every series of Garmin wrist smart watch and smart bracelets. Now it brings Garmin Forerunner 735xt which is the top product in Forerunner series. Forerunner 735xt adopted color circular screen design, 3.1 cm in diameter, 215 x180 resolution. Its appearance is  very similar to 235, just a little bit small dial.
